T&L-Compatible Video Card

I want to play Act of War but only have a 32-MB GeForce 2. I know this does not meet the requirements and want to make an upgrade that is affordable to play the game. It says the video card requirement is: 64 MB Hardware T&L-compatible video card. What is meant by T&L-compatible card? I have never heard of this before. Thanks!

I am having the same problem with my video card. I have the onboard Intel Extreme Graphics card and it plays games like Sims 2 and Sim City 4 fine, but will not work with Final Fantasy XI cause it is not T&L compatible.

I have searched the forums and found out the the Geforce 5600 and 5700Le works good for PCI only computers.

I don't think this will help you a lot but this is what i have digged up from looking through the past posts.

EDIT: I have found this little tidbit on what is T&L compatible:

Hope it helps you!

T&L is transform and lighting, Every 3d/modern game uses it.

CyberTodd17,

What system are you wanting to upgrade the video card?
