Vostro 200 Slim Tower - Drivers?
Looking for drivers to reinstall XP and eventually Windows 8 onto a Vostro 200 Slim Tower.
Lost the originall install discs and I just see the regular Vostro 200 Desktop under Support with drivers. I would assume these are different set of drivers.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi cdr478s,
Vostro 200 was not tested on windows 8 operating system, when it was launched, hence the support.dell.com does not list any drivers for windows 8. To download the driver for windows 8 operating system for the hardware components, you need to install them from the vendor website.
As you do not have the disk that came with the computer, Please use the following link to request Backup Discs: http://dell.to/11KJ54i
The above link is for the US region. Please let me if there is any difficulty in requesting the disk.
After the operating system is installed, the drivers should be installed in correct order. Please use this link which shows the right order: http://tinyurl.com/8xvx6xy
