DiskXtender and SAV

I currently have a win2k3 box with Corporate edition SAV. DiskXtender 6.2 causes the system to be unstable, RDP connections occasionally do not logout, all files are skipped during a background scan. If the server is rebooted the background scan runs OK the first time, after that all files are skipped. If system is unstable, disabling DXSPY device causes stability.

I tried this on 3 different servers, same results. I installed on one server Win2k3 DX6.2, no SAV all runs great. Please help as SAV is our corporate policy and must be on server.

This probably doesn't help you much but I run DX 6.20.060 on three servers with SAV 11.0.2010.25. I don't have any stability issues.
The only conflict I have is that even with the DX execuatable in the AV ignore list I still have to disable real time scanning in SAV while I'm doing a DX background scan. If I leave the real time scanning enabled the background scan takes about 5x longer to complete.

Firstly, i suggest that you go through DX Technical Product Overview and Admin Gui for information about Anti-virus software interoperability.

Do you get any errors (like error code 32) when the files are skipped during background scan?

How many filter drivers are running on the Extended Drive?
