DX Upgrade Tips?

I am about to upgrade DX from 6.0 to the latest version.
Is this upgrade by the book or is there anything I need to know outside the manual text?

    By the book
    But it's a good idea to have a backup just in case.

    AFG, how did it go?

    We are preparing a 6.1 to 6.3 upgrade for license server and FSM.
