Verify you have write privs to the path configured for MetaData export. As a quick test log in as the service account and open the UNC path in windows explorer. Right click and attempt to create a file.

I highly suggest that you update your DX version to 6.1 latest patch. We had a lot of these issues with DX 5.6 and files+path longer than 255 chars. With 6.1p3 we had it with Mac files shared on NTFS volume. Removing Mac files from DX control solved the issue.

From what I have seen with the Error logs is that the local administator group needs to be added to the file properties, under the security features. You might have to do that for any file that have an error of (5).
