Failed PE driver import into SCCM

Question

Hi There, Is anyone else seeing failures importing the WinPE drivers into SCCM? I'm getting the error 'the selected driver is not applicable to any platforms' for a number of drivers including: - x64
etwork\R235484\E1Y62x64.inf - x64
etwork\R267025\E1K62x64.inf - Any other network drivers in the PE package, either x86 or x64 Is anyone else seeing this or is it just me?

I haven't seen it, but I know that an occasional DOS driver will be in the NIC drivers and can cause an Import to fail with that error. There is a Microsoft Patch for ConfigMgr which addresses drivers that are only targeted to Windows 7 which cause the same error to occur.

Thanks for the reply Warren. We installed the following hotfix from Microsoft for ConfigMgr 2007 SP2 and it resolved the issue, in case anyone else found the same issue.

Philsid, thanks for the post for the hotfix. I had the same issue with PE drivers and 6410 & 6420 drivers and was going nuts. The hotfix corrected it all. Thanks for sharing
