Latitude E6220/E6230/6530 Windows 8.1 Sleep Problem

Hi Everyone,

Whilst building a SOE for Windows 8.1 I came across a problem with the Latitude 6220, 6230 & 6530 where after you put the computer into sleep and then on wake up of the computer it would lock-up at the login screen.

After many hours of testing I discovered that the driver for the O2 SD Card reader was the problem. If using the in-built driver for the SD card reader it functions correctly.

Hopefully this helps someone out.

    After weeks of searching (16+ hours) for a fix, I also discovered this. We're having the issue on Dell Latitude E6510, E6520 and E6530 machines running Windows 7 64 bit.

    My fix was as simple as downloading/installing the memory card reader drivers for each respective system from Dell's support site.

    Couls you please provide a link for that driver? 

    Recently switched to Windows 8.1 and getting the same problem with my e6230. I tried to find a driver for the memory card reader on Dell's website but didn't!
