problems or misunderstanding

I used to build my drivers in manually and find this little addition GREAT! Wish I would of known of this stuff with previous systems. So my lack of knowledge could be the answer to the below.
There are a few issues with this pack though that I experience and wonder why they are happening so I can fix them. As I can’t see Dell releasing this without testing it.
First we still use RIS and I script our installs. Once complete:
1. Nvidia video (does not install at all) and audio (installs with exclamation mark) driver do not appear to work users keep getting messages upon logging in regarding this. Usually I end up installing this during the scripted install manually via setup /s but I need to stop the install from wanting a reboot. How can I do this until this driver pack is fixed?
2. controlvault driver (Broadcom USH) installs but with a exclamation point issue.
3. Mass Storage Controller and PCI Device both listed in SCSI and RAID controllers have exclamation points.
4. in the System Devices there is an Unknown device with an exclamation mark. This device I believe is the ST Microelectronics Accelerometer.

Unknown Devices is blank this is good but not good that all these devices above are having problems.

Thanks for the post! I know that the Cabs are tested, but I don't think that RIS is in the testing plan. MDT and ConfigMgr are the 2 main platforms tested. The Nvidia driver is a known issue.

I understand RIS is not supported and outdated but the baseline for RIS is nothing more than a scripted install once the actual install process begins. I can't imagine this does not work. Do you not support injecting these drivers into a CD for install because this is how RIS would handle them.

In theory, these drivers are ready for Windows to consume them no matter how they get delivered (RIS, WDS, MDT, ConfigMgr,etc.) but your experience shows that this may not be the case. I'll send your feedback to the dev team.

The Dev team confirmed that it isn't currently testing on RIS when doing driver cab validation. I don't know if they are planning on adding it to their test plan, but they have been made aware of it.

    Thanks!
