Speaker Sound

I just turned on my Laptop, a Studio 1558 with SRS Premium Sound and the Speakers sound like they are blown they have this crackling noise to them. I am so disappointed b/c I have had some major issues with this computer. Can someone give me some suggestion or if Dell gives me answers can I please exchange it, its less than a year old.

@ Warren did talk with them warranty have expired, and I dont have the funds to purchase warranty
