Welcome to the forums, Jerdroux !

As far as I know the new Vsphere 4 has a NaviAgent already built in, so you don't need to install an agent at all

There isnt one, just manually regiter the hosts.

The initiators are supposed to auto-register.  I have seen this work with AX systems, but not with CX

If you have powerlink account then you can download the naviagents from(Powerlink.emc.com) website. generally the agents are kept at the same level as the Flare code version i.e if Flare code running on array is at R26 then naviagent on host should match the same version i.e R26.

Regarding Vsphere4 naviagent: There is no need to install naviagent on vsphere4 provided it's a Cx-4 system. I have not seen the vsphere4 host getting registered automatically on Cx3 systems.

Keep the manual registration as your last option when you cannot download the host for any reasons.
