I agree that this would be a nice personalization feature. I will discuss this with our team. At the moment, we will likely have new forums near the top like and later shift them down as the age and perhaps become less used. But, letting the user choice is the best win-win idea.

You should be able to order the forums as desired (arbitrarily)
