SANHQ
Hi gurus
I am very new to all this , so go easy on me,
I am trying to setup SAN HQ , I enter the management IP and the SNMP community phrase, but it can not connect, it states that the connection is there but can not load all info, I went to my SAN group and the members of the array are not setup with managment IP.
1) can the group SAN IP be the same as the managment dedicated IP, for reason I believe so , as I can connect to this IP to manage the EQL
2) Does the Managed IP has to be on a different subnet that the members are?
3) Best practice to setup this env, so SANHQ can look at the members and all that good stuff
Thanks a bunch gurus

Don. Thanks again
My SANHQ server is on 10.110.x.x subnet but I have those two subnet talking to each other , I can see 10.125 from my 10.110 server. so I guess I am doing something else wrong
I will not config the dedicated mgmt as per your advice but I would like to have SAN HQ up and happy.
Thanks again for battling with me on this

Don.
I put the machine on the same subnet and the same issue, then , and I am sure you will laugh, I realize this thing need the SNMP to work, and I did not have in place, once I did, they sucker fired up
Thanks again for your time and patience with me.
