Type 13 FW

Hi

What is the lowest firmware level a TYPE13 will take?

Is there a document which states the min/max level of each controller type or can someone say?

Thanks

    hello,

Type 13 has a minimum of 7.x.  EQL FW.   However, that FW is very old, all newer EQL arrays should be at 10.0.3.

     Regards,

    Don

    Hi

im thinking the type13 is differant, 7.1.5 isnt compatible and i think i have only seen 8.1.13 max.

    Hello,

No, that is not correct.  The Type 13 is a PS4110M controller.   From the release notes for 7.x

    • Select the 32-bit kit for the following array models:

      • PS4000, PS-M4110
      • PS5000, PS5500E
      • PS6000, PS6010
      • PS6500, PS6510

      Regards,

    Don

    Hello,

You probably were using the 64bit FW kit.  That controller only supports 32bit Firmware.

     Regards,

    Don
