Are there any DPM 2010 experts here ? I am having a problem creating the manual replica of data from a remote site with a very slow (and throttled) WAN circuit. We have 500GB of data on the remote server to protect, and we have used an external USB drive on the remote server to backup the data and overnighted it to HQ and imported the data manually, but the first step is a required CRC on the data and that takes too darn long. After days and days of the process running, either the WAN circuit goes down, one server or the other restarts or we run into the 20day limit on the CRC process and it fails. Is there a better and much faster way to import the first replica ? SAN storage, NAS storage or another external drive of some sort ? Something that would let us directly import the data without the first CRC ?? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated !
