how can activate enable multi host access option ?
because I've created one volume for connect two server to this volume ,but unfortunately the enable multihost access option is disppear I can't see this option for make cluster ,i need select this option to make one volume as share between two servers when use cluster .
I attempted to recreate the situation and was unable to both on new volumes, existing ones, and volumes with hosts attached. I'm using firmware 4.1.4 on a group consisting of PS5000's & PS6000. I also contacted a person at EqualLogic HQ, and he too was unable to get the access option to disappear or 'grey out'.
The only suggestion we have, other than opening a ticket with support, is that is it possible you are not logged in with Administrator priviliges? If so, I think your best bet is to contact support. You can also provide more detail (Firmware, model Numbers, Host operating systems, step by step of what you are doing) and maybe a site member can help.
Thank you for your prompt response .
really I'm shy with the customer because I've advised him to buy equallogic PS5000
but during the installation I've been suprised about simple issues didn't come with me smoothly such as enable host ccess option for cluster doesn't appear , moreover the customer purpose for taken PS5000 just for cluster (share volume ) .
