MD3000i Read Only for particular iSCSI target ?
Hi,
I have setup a Windows 2008 server and set Automount Disable using Diskpart. I then setup the iSCSI initiator to connect to the MD3000i SAN and the drives show up as expected in Disk Manager.
I use removable USB drives to backup the VMware Virtual Machines on the SAN. Of course with automount disabled the USB drives do not get mounted automatically. Is there anyway I can set Read Only in MDSM or via the CLI for this iSCSI initiator so that I can turn automount back on without Windows writing a signature to disk and therefore rendering the LUNS inoperable to VMware.
