multiple uuid

Question

I need to clean up my storage. i had gone on vacation and came back just to find that my storage volume had a great number of VDI's created. when i try to match these with what vm's i have in my host environment it does not match up by far. i also noticed from the host that after doing a xe vdi-list i have a lot of multiple vdi's with the same uuid.  how do i make sure if at all deleting is the option that i am deleting the right vdi? i am using dell equallogic 6000x with firmware V6.0.2 and the hosts are all dell R910's on xenserver 6.1.
