Timefinder symclone incremental copy using device files

Question

Hi, I am cloning a set of standard volumes using device files. How should I create the session so that it will do a incremental sync? Is it #symclone -sid 565 -f device.txt create -copy -differential ? Thanks.

that's correct, once you activate the session ..it will do full copy. After that if you need to perform incremental sync you will run 'symclone -sid 565 -f device.txt recreate.
