That's a good question. From what you described I would expect the script to fail on the recreate, because there has never been a full sync (at least not since the pairs were put back together. The best case scenario I can think of is that it might succeed, but force a full copy the first time.

As I understand it, when you terminated, it terminated the differential (SDDF?) session which had been maintaining the state of changes between the devs. When you created the pairs again, even though the data was the same on both, TimeFinder won't know that until after the first full copy and activate.

you will need to activate before you can issue the recreate otherwise you will get the error Cannot perform the operation because the device is not in a valid state
