Desktop upgrade
I have an old dell inspiron 580 desktop with i3 550 processor. I know feel that it's to low powered. I want to switch my processor to a better one like amd ryzen 5. I also want to have ddr4 rams as it has ddr1 rams. How can i do so to make it a powerful machine ?

Inspiron is Intel based motherboard. You can't install a Ryzen CPU in an Intel motherboard. Newer DDR4 memory will not work in this either.
Considering the age of the 580 and what you want to do, buy a newer computer.
