Stock Build - Gpu Upgrades?
I think it's time to upgrade my Inspiron 5680 i7-8700 GTX 1070 8 GB. I would appreciate any advice or recommendations on GPU upgrades, preferably without modifications to the case or frame. If possible upgrades require power supply changes please include those details too, thanks.

RTX 3080, 3080 Ti, 3070, 3070 Ti are some of the high end gpu validated in 5680 by users.
Psu upgrade to 600w (standard ATX) is sufficient to support RTX 3080 Ti
Load Wattage: 524 W
Recommended PSU Wattage: 574 W

Thank you @redxps630 for your help,
I have a few questions:
1. Are there any GPUs in the 20 series as a 30 series will require me to spend the majority of my savings
2. I'm only 15 and not very experienced in computer components therefore any recommendations to PSUs will be greatly appreciated
3. I have read online that the 5680 needs a better cooler, is this true? If so what should I look into if I am to upgrade my GPU
Thanks again

The 30 series card especially the higher end one does cost quite a bit. used 3080 for $600 for example.
The 20 series being older may have less demand but could still be expensive. used 2080 for $260 or up.
EVGA often has good deal on psu. Look for a good deal on name brand psu on Best Buy or other site.
you can upgrade to premium tower cooler for 8940/8900 in 5680 if you have the entry level pancake cooler now.
