Hi all,
If you've been experiencing issues with Alienware Command Center Package Manager, here's a solution that might help: Download and install the complete version of AWCC (AWCC full instaler).
Did you know that AWCC comes in two versions? There's the app version, which downloads files in parts, and then there's the complete setup. By opting for the complete setup, you can potentially avoid these issues altogether.
Make sure to select the latest version as per your product page.
If you still need assistance, please contact support by clicking the ‘Get Help Now’ button located at the bottom right corner of the page. The button is marked with a help icon for easy recognition as per the picture below:

Hi @BalazsBence welcome to this free user to user Alienware laptop discussion forum. This is not Dell Support.
My Alienware laptop had similar problem and Repair fixed all the installation Issues.
Go to Programs & Features, the Alienware Command Center Application should be listed. Right click to get options window and click on Change. When the Program maintenance window appears, Click on Repair. Then Restart (not Shut Down) to save changes.
If the Alienware Command Center Application is not listed, run the file installed on your system again and click on Repair option. Never try and install over the internet.

Hi @BalazsBence thank you for sharing update.
The Dell G-series feature support matrix says Dell G15 5511 must be configured with the optional RGB keyboard in order to support AWCC Alien FX 2.0. Systems that are configured with the standard backlit keyboard do not support AlienFX 2.0.
Please look at your invoice to confirm the type of keyboard installed in your Dell G15 5511.

Hi @BalazsBence thank you for sharing generic list.
What is the specific configuration of your G15 5511 laptop? Does it have the optional RGB keyboard?
Click on Product Support and ID your Model and Revision Number (Dell G15 5511). Your private Overview tab, Quick links (on RH side) includes 'View product specs' that will open window to list your original and current system configuration.

Hi @BalazsBence thank you for sharing update.
Here is a video of user who finds that Windows 11 is not compatible with Alienware Command Center Package Manager on the Dell g15 5511. This video demonstrates using the Repair option to eventually get AWCC to install. You are not the only user with this problem.

I'm becoming convinced this is a larger Dell problem, because Support Assist is not able to find updates for my drivers from either the app on my Alienware laptop or from the website. Both worked fine in June (as did the Alienware Command Center at the time).
The ACC stopped working correctly on my computer in the last couple of weeks, and while I've tried repairing, resetting and uninstalling/reinstalling (with both the MS store and the Dell download), I get the same error about the wizard being interrupted.

Same problem here as well. Alienware Command Center is such a piece of garbage program. It was working fine with my FX compatible keyboard on my x15 R2 and then when updated completely disabled all lighting on the keyboard. Followed Dell's Uninstall - Reinstall instructions exactly and now it won't even reinstall. Such a huge disappointment for good hardware to be controlled by absolutely trash drivers.

Exact same issues as everyone else, I have followed probably 6 different guides, uninstalled this one program over a few dozen times and nothing all over 4 hours lol. Seems to be major error on Dell/Alienware's software end. Hoping there's a fix for this soon as my fans are loud as heck.
I would like to add, that I find it odd when this is downloaded from the dell webpage and "installed" it fails, yet somehow installs AWCC, but through/VIA the Microsoft store for me, even when it isn't even running. What was also weird, was originally I did for sure have it installed as a discoverable app on my Apps and Programs, but it was still installed inside the Microsoft Apps folder as well, something is wonky. lol

Something strange just happened so I thought I would update this thread...
I use AutoCAD primarily at work and today it was bogged down to the point of locking up. Even thought my alienware has been a failure, I decided to hit my "G" button and, miraculously, ALL of the LEDs flashed on! SO I looked in my start menu and, out of nowhere, the Alienware software is suddenly there again and it opens!!! (Has been missing since my last post).
Fingers crossed it will continue to function after my next restart, and I hope this was a fix from Dell or Microsoft and that all of you will have the same luck. Cheers.
