Alienware keeps changing power plan?

So, I've recently bought a Dell G3. And it's working really great. However, I've noticed the power plan changing from Dell to Balanced on every boot. I wanted to trace the problem, and I now believe that Alienware is doing it. Here's why:

Process C: \ Program Files \ Alienware \ Alienware Command Center \ AWCC.Background.Server.exe (process ID: 2316) reset the policy scheme from {49ef8fc0-bb7f-488e-b6a0-f1fc77ec649b}(Dell Power Plan) to {381b4222-f694-41f0-9685 -ff5bb260df2e}(Balanced Power Plan)

This happens on every boot. I've checked the settings of ACC, and, to my surprise, it's set to Performance. There is no Performance power plan, so could that be the case?

Alright, I think deleting the Balanced power plan solved the problem.

I had the same problem so I have now uninstalled the Alienware Command Center and associated software.  Its garbage.  Why would you make such decisions for your customers like changing the power plan.  It's just so boneheaded.

Which power plan are you currently using? What exactly do you want your system do regarding the power plan?
