You may want to install a new drive for Linux, or at minimum keep an image of the old one that you can restore in the event support is needed -- though replacing the OS doesn't void the warranty, they will require the original OS to be reinstalled in the event support is required.

Also carefully examine whatever distribution of Linux you plan to install as far as hardware support is involved -- some Dell systems do have Linux support, while others have hardware that won't work well (or at all) with Linux -- the fingerprint sensors are one problematic example.

Even if Windows is installed on the hard drive (it won't be unless you've done that;  from the factory it'll be on the SSD), the SSD is the boot drive -- so if you install Linux to it, be sure you have a UEFI-compliant distribution that can coexist with Windows.  If you simply install Linux to the SSD, Windows will then no longer start otherwise.

None of the Windows-based Dell utilities will run under Linux, no.

thank you, luckly i dont have a fingerprint sensor. And Also My device has 2 drives 1 256 GB SSD and 1 1terra hdd , so windows works on that , so when installing linux if i erase only the ssd and installed linus on that so can that hdd still be used without formatting or anything (backups of all important file has been taken. ) and for downloading linux i should do it using a usb right? and then booting it via usb and installing it.
