charging indicator or power indicator blinking

model      : dell vostro 5415
anomaly  : the charging indicator light(located right beside the power port) was blinking before, during and after charging.

precaution: remove the power chord before enforcing the solution

Solution   : press and hold the power key till the system shuts down. Click on the power button and check if the light is still blinking(mine was not). Now connect the power chord & turn the power on and the indicator lights up till your device is completely charged.
