Dell inspiron 5150 hyperthreading not working
I have a dell inspiron 5150 laptop with a Intel Pentium 4 3.06ghz HT running Windows XP home edition SP3. The BIOS is A38
I don’t think my hyperthreading is working, when i go into the bios menu on start up it shows as Hyperthreading enabled, when i go onto device manager is shows 2 processors, however when i go on task manager (above photo) it shows only the one processor?
What is wrong here?
Many thanks

Change the CPU view to "logical processors". Your system has only one CPU core -- hyperthreading allows it to masquerade as two logical processors.

thanks so much! Right clicking the graph did nothing so i clicked view>CPU history>One per graph and it showed both logical CPU’s.
so my hyperthreading was working all along. Thanks for helping me!

Right-click on the graph and change it to "show logical processors".
