I’m getting this message pop up regularly , does anyone know what it means? Should I be concerned? Does it require an update or something more serious like taking to a repair shop to get fixed?
thanks

You can run a test on your computer to check the functionality of the hard drive of your computer following the steps below:

  • Please restart the system.
  • As soon as you see the blue Dell logo, start tapping the ‘F12’ key which is at the top of the keyboard.

Note: If you wait too long and the Microsoft Windows appears, then continue to wait until you see the Windows desktop. Now shutdown your computer and try again.

  • After you tap ‘F12’ key, a new window would appear in front of you. Use the 'Down' arrow key to highlight the option “Diagnostics” and hit enter to initiate EPSA diagnostics.
  • Please make a note of any error message if any.

Welcome to the Dell Community @tassy86

Have you tried to reset the Optain Memory???

To reset to non Optane:

  1. open the BIOS
  2. Settings>> Advanced >>Intel Rapid Storage Technology
  3. Select Intel PCIe (Optane module with serial number) >> Select Reset to non Optane
  4. Save changes and boot to Windows again.
  5. Open Optane application in order to enable again the Optane™ module

Best regards,

U2

This message kept coming for me . When I actually installed it, it still kept showing  the message for me. Later my laptop randomly shuts down and it was not working. A few days later it turns on again. It kept happening like that. After that my laptop kept making a veryyy loud noise today and again stopped working. What should I do?
