Error Code: 2000 0142
My Dell Inspiron 15 3000 series is stuck at black screen after the Dell logo. Hence I ran a diagnosis and found that the error was 2000 0142 and Validation was 126844. Hence I couldn't not boot my windows. Please do help me fix this. Thank You.

The hard drive has failed - replace it with a new one and then proceed to reload the OS, your applications, and restore your data from your backup.

2000-0142 is your early warning - if you don't have a backup, make one immediately.
The drive may still be readable - but it won't be for long.

@ejn63 Thanks for the reply. But I don't think the hard drive is damaged. Because my BIOS is still detecting the hard drive and in Boot options it is showing all the files that are in my hard drive.
