Hello, 

I wonder do I have to buy a new window 10 for my laptop if I replace my main hard drive? 

I read online they said that window 10 is stored in my motherboard and I don't have to buy a new one. 

But I went to a computer fixing shop and they said I do need to buy a new window 10 because mine is a laptop so the window 10 is stored in my hard drive, not my motherboard. 

Then who is right? Help!
