DELL Inspiron 11 - 3185

Had similar problem. Tried fresh install, but got the message that space wasn't enough. Using Windows Remove Programs, got rid of almost all software. Backed up data files. Restart gave me error "No Bootable Device"

Got Media Creation Tool and made a recovery disk (Windows 10 64 bit, compact - 5.72 GB) on USB. Booted from USB to get Windows install option. Pops up a screen showing 4 Partitions. Only large enough partition is 27.2 GB one. Formatted it, started install, but when the automated install tries to reboot, it end ups in the DELL Support Assist screen with the message "No Bootable Device".

Is the MBR corrupt? How can it be repaired?

In BIOS I am able to choose 3 ".efi" files: (a) bootmgfw.efi (b) bootmgr.efi (c)bootx64.efi. b) & c) from the USB recovery media. Can these help?
