Inspiron 14 5000 Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues
Hello,
I have an Inspiron 14 5000. This past month I am experiencing periods of very slow wi-fi internet. It seems to happen randomly where the wifi icon shows full bars but the speed is extremely slow. Sometimes it resolves itself, sometimes I need to reset my router, or restart the laptop and then the internet speed is very fast again. Sometimes I have at least four or five days without any issues. This doesn't affect the Wi-Fi on my other devices or my other laptop. Any advice on how to solve this problem? Thank you very much.

I believe that model has Smartbyte installed. If so then uninstall it and disable it from running at startup in task manager. Another possibility is that at 11 years of age the Wifi adapter is having problems.
