Hello, I just wanna ask if i can replace my old motherboard dell 13 7000 icore 5 into icore 7? Will it fit to my laptop or not? Thanks for those who can answer my query.

It depends on the specific system model - you will need to provide the full model number (7359, 7301, etc.).

The cost is usually high enough that it makes little economic sense, at least until the system is old enough where it'll probably be cheaper to replace the entire system than just the board.

@ejn63the motherboard of my laptop got damaged and so i looked for a replacement thru online and icore7 is only available online and so before i place my order i wanna make sure if its fit to my laptop. Or maybe icore 7 is bigger than the icore5 that will not fit if i will replace it.

The boards are the same size, but it's not uncommon for i7 models to have ports that the i5 version doesn't, which means it may or may not be possible to retrofit an i7 board in an i5 system.  Try parts-people.com if you're in the US;  they can tell you what will fit and what won't based on your service tag.
