Replacement screen

Hi all,

not sure if this is the right section but I’ve had a small miss hap with my laptop. The screen is now damaged. How do I go about buying a replacement genuine screen from dell? I’ll be fitting the screen myself as it is out of warranty.

Cheers

Ken

Another option is to buy a genuine Dell OEM display from Parts-People, as they will ship to Ireland. Here are displays for Inspiron 16 7610

Follow procedures in your laptop's Service Manual.

Whenever touching components or working inside a computer, wear a grounded wrist strap, also called anti-static wrist strap, ESD wrist strap, or ground bracelet. It's a cheap and sensible precaution. Rest the laptop on an anti-static mat or at least a reasonable alternative such as corrugated cardboard. (Repeatedly touching a metal case part is not sufficient mitigation with modern components.)

If in the U.S., call Dell Spare Parts, 1-800-348-6147.

Outside the US, call your local Dell office and ask for "spare parts".

Generally, parts such as internal components aren't sold online -- call whatever your local Dell sales number is, and ask for "spare parts".

Sorry I meant to say I’m in Ireland. Does anyone have a contact no or email I can use?

    cheers
