an archive is in progress

We have an 8.0.0.0 cluster.  I was running through the upgrade guide for 8.0.0.1 and I got to the part about running the upgrade compatibility check.  When I run it (isi upgrade cluster assess /ifs/data/OneFS_8.0.0.1_Install.tar.gz) I get the following output - an archive is in progress, please try again later.

This cluster is solely used for a destination for synciq.  What is it referring to about an archive is in progress?  Is there a way to identify what the Isilon is doing.  It's said this for over 24 hours and you'd think the whatever it's doing would finish at some point, but apparently not.  Is there anyway to find out what this archive is and kill it if it's not critical?

I just want to say thank you so much for this post. It seems that after running the assess command the process gets stuck somewhere and just reports an archive is in progress. This was preventing me from upgrading OneFS even though every health check passed. I ran through the commands and it cleared the issue and now myself and my department are very grateful that we can now install 8.1.2!
