can I delete Files in /ifs/.snapshot?
Hi community,
I got a question and hope anyone has the answer...
Is it possible to delete several files in the /ifs/.snapshot directory?
I do not want to delete the whole created snapshot, only a few files.
The directory /ifs/.snapshot is a "read only" file system.
Can I change this value?
Background / reason:
This is a result / task of our IT-Security department. Some important files
should never have been stored on the Isilon (OneFS v7.0.2.7)
Thanks a lot for your help!!!

No, not possible. You will need to copy or clone the files you want to keep, and remove=expire entire snapshot(s).
