Change Isilon model?

I have a node with a model/product of "NL400-4U-Dual-12GB-2x1GE-2x10GE SFP+-144TB" with 48 GB of RAM memory installed.  I want to add it to a cluster with model/product "NL400-4U-Dual-48GB-2x1GE-2x10GE SFP+-144TB" and 48 GB of RAM memory.  Is there a way to change the model/product of the Isilon node?  Is there an image I can install on it?  Thank you!!

Can it be done?  Yes, but you basically are converting a node, from an off-the-shelf model, to a CTO model.  It's not as simple as adding RAM to the 1 12GB node.  Your account team will likely need to engage EMC PS to help get the model conversion done.

    Hi The_DI,

Chris is correct. You will need to reach out to get the hardware upgrade file for your node. There is a guide that discusses what you will need to get it done.
