EMcopy errors

Hi

I am running emcopy to migrate data from MS file server to an Isilon cluster oneFS 7.0, and below are the errors and warning that i see when i run the migration scripts. Is there a way to get it fixed.

Warnings:

Unable to retrieve the PDC of the domain GA nearby \\MCGNAS, error : 1717

The default primary group is set to "domain users"

Errors:

Unable to open object for SD setting

SD not set, Retrying in 0 seconds...

This is how the script looks like

emcopy.exe "source" "destination" /secfix /s /o /d /purge /c /r:2 /w:0 /log:

Thank you for any help in advance

Sorry I should have said "local security policy" not group. This can be found on the server itself.

Yest the migration was successful. But make sure emcopy is carrying all the NTFS permissions and the m,a times for fodlers and files. Also while creating shares on Isilon, do not apply default permissions as it will overwrite the NTFS permissions of the folder you copied.

I have seen this error most of the time when I run emcopy and I have ignored it as I could not find a solution to it. I always make sure the user account have admin rights and add it to "Generate Security Audits" and "Manage Auditing and Security Log" local security groups and local administrator group before running the copies.

    Appreciate your help

Adding to Local security policy is something that is not done. What would be the impact for not adding to policy in prior and we have the incremental copies ran already. Apart from that, everything else you mentioned is taken care

Thank you for the reply Nahahari,

The user running the migration has root privileges and added to admin and backup operators group.

I dont find a group named Security Audits in the AD.

Was the migration successful even though you ignored the errors.
