H400 performance vs x200's
Hi everyone,
Looking at upgrading our 6 year old x200 cluster. We currently have 6x nodes and a backup accelerator. Wondering how 4x H400 nodes would compare in performance. Our x200's only have gig-e ports, so we would be moving up to 10gbe. More concerned with I/O.
Any thoughts would be helpful?

Google for
storage57.Isilon-An_Insider_Peek_Info_OneFS_Enhancements.pdf
(Document is publicy accessible, but direct link is stuck in moderation here.)
H400 is mentioned only in a few places in this document,
and previous generation models shown are S210 and X410,
but you might be able to cross-reference and extrapolate...

H400s went into the same performance slot (more or less), as the X410 and the X400 of the previous generations. Both of those were faster than the X200s that you have today. It’s quite likely that a 4-node H400 cluster would have more capacity and a good deal faster performance than your existing 6 node X200 cluster.
