How to simulate Node firmware updates?
Apart from using the following options of the "isi upgrade cluster firmware start " command:
--no-burn -- Do not burn the firmware.
--exclude-device -- List of comma-separated devices to exclude from the firmware upgrade. Each device name must be enclosed in double quotes, while the entire list must be enclosed in single quotes.
, Is there any way to simulate/test a node firmware upgrade?
I assume the simulator cannot be used and that a real physical cluster has to be used? If thats the case, I assume we cannot roll back a node firmare update?
Im looking to automate node firmware upgrades but first I need a mechanism to test it repeatably.

Hello bucklr1,
You can’t rollback a firmware upgrade without contacting support first. The Simulator can’t do a firmware upgrade. You will want to do a health check to ensure that your Isilon system is ready and will accept the new firmware.
