/ifs/data quota delete.

Hello,

We would like to know if it's possible to delete 'first level' quota from isilon. This quota not usage limits.

Type AppliesTo Path Snap Hard Soft Adv Grace Files With Overhead W/O Overhead Over Enforced Container Linked

directory DEFAULT /ifs/data Yes - - - - 383200999 337.54T 273.15T - No No -

No quotas are set by default, so removing the quota for /ifs/data on your system will not break anything within OneFS. I wouldn't expect a substancial perfomance gain, unless the cluster is heavily loaded with metadata-intense work, like massive amounts writes at small blocksizes or small files, deeply nested other quotas or snapshots.

Many thanks.
In my specific case it seems a 'accounting' quota. I understand that this type of quota it doesn't apply for performance topics.

I'll keep this quota yet.

What uses maybe very useful with this type of quota?
It's suitable keep this configurations for reports?

Many thanks.
Best regards.
