Isilon not working when Node-1 and Node-2 goes offline
Hi,
I have EMC Isilon simulator setup with a total of 3 nodes. On this setup, Node-2 is not working due to some issues with IP address that's why it is always offline.
Node-1 192.168.1.67
Node-2 192.168.1.68 9 (always offline)
Node-2 192.168.1.69
In this case, I have observed that when first node-1 goes offline then it is not allowing me to log in to Node-3. It gives the 'Service Unavailable' error also it fails when I try to run the API on Node-3.
Is it because Node-1 (node with the lowest NodeID) is a Master node and if this node goes off then the connection to other nodes is broken?
In such cases, which node should I consider the main node?
I'm working on the automated script to monitor the Isilon environment and collect Capacity information. I really need help here because script is unable to fetch any details because of the above problem.
Also, while Isilon deployment I have observed that when you set authentication credentials to the Fist Node then the same credentials apply for all nodes in the cluster. Is it a valid case or there is a possibility that the credentials of each node might be different?
Thanks in advance

@PhilLam Apologies for the delay. Thanks for your response.
It was an issue with IP conflict, and I was able to resolve it by re-assigning IP addresses for each node.

@amitdhane
on VMware console, what does ifconfig display for each node for IP?
