Isilon- Refresh/Migration help

Question

Hi Team,

I have a requirement to refresh couple of Isilons and migrate their data on to a new Isilon array and re-establish DR using new Isilon array. I am planning to use SyncIQ for data migration so is there any step by steps guidance available, what info I should collect from existing cluster, how to plan policy setup etc ? Also, refresh is planned for both prod and DR sites and after completion of data migration, I have to re-establish DR communication between new Isilon arrays so is that required full data sync between new arrays ?

Hi,

Could not create the replication after migration and it wont resync, but it wont be a real DR setup it will just have the data as the last sync. Here is how to do cascaded replication. https://dell.to/3QTjfdn

Do I need to do full sync with DR site after data migration on new Isilon ? I have plan to do refresh on DR site also so eventually both sites will have new Isilon at the end.

I would unless the DR refresh is really soon and then could do it after.

Ye, DR side refresh will also go almost same time. Any possibility to maintain DR without doing full re-sync ?
Also, is Isilon supports cascaded replication ? A to B to C ? and later I can remove A and make B as prod and C as DR ?
