Isilon storage file explorer crashes

Anyone have issues such as if your windows computer is not joined to any domain? The smb connection for the file shares on Isilon continually try to connect and then makes file explorer crash. Then the computer crashes.

    Another way of stating this title as well.     "Issues with "Map Network Drive" causing file explorer to freeze"

    Our logs don't have an error for the encoding.  Thank you.

    Our departments make folders at root level so the limit does not apply in this case.  Thank you.
