IsilonSD Edge - Manually deploy third node?

Hi guys, we have had a three node IsilonSD Edge Cluster (OneFS 8.1.2 / Management Server 1.1.1). One of the three node died during an upgrade to ESXi6.7 (kernel panic, will not be able to fix this any more). We would like to deploy a new third node, but it doesn't work. Our guess is, that during initial deployment, the "number of datastores for the VMFS storage type" was chosen incorrectly, and now prevents the Management Server from deploying a third node. --- Is there a way to change the behaviour of the IsilonSD Edge Management Server's setting for the "number of datastores for the VMFS storage type" from "One per virtual data disk" to "One per ESXi host" or to "One per OneFS virtual node"?
