Yes, you can have multiple instances of InsightIQ pointed to a cluster as long as they don't share the same datastore. For more information, check out the support documentation on InsightIQ, and check the compatibility guide to see which version will work with your version of OneFS.
they won't even give you read only access ? I give all my customer read only access to the appliance so they can use file analytics instead of messing around with tools like TreeSize ..etc

We are trying to get R/O access but also would like to explore a possibility to run two InsightIQ instances and point them at the same Isilon cluster.
