OneFS 9.1 object storage for IBM Spectrum Protect
Hi,
I'm trying to use our Isilon with OneFS 9.1.0.6 as a cloud storage pool for IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM). I can successfully access my S3 bucket from an S3 browser. So the access id and the key seem to be correct. But TSM is not able to use the bucket. I'm always getting the error "wrong access id or key".
TSM has certified several cloud storage systems that can be used as a cloud storage pool. PowerScale and OneFS are not on the list, but Dell EMC Elastic Cloud Storage Version 3.1 is. Is there a difference in defining an S3 bucket between ECS and PowerScale? Any ideas?
Thanks.
Dirk

Hello dirkuos,
There is a difference between the 2 systems on how they handle cloudpools. Here is a link to a KB for ECS on how it handles buckets as well as Onefs web admin guide & page 315 explains bucket handling.
