SFTP logs
I have an issue in which I am unable to get our SDDC Manager to backup to Isilon via SFTP.
All looks ok and I can connect over to the SFTP site via WINSCP, but SDDC Manager keeps failing.
How do I get to the SFTP logs?
anyone got any other comments?
thanks in advance

It sounds like you are having trouble getting your SDDC Manager to backup to Isilon via SFTP. While you can connect to the SFTP site via WINSCP, the SDDC Manager keeps failing. You would like to know how to access the SFTP logs to help troubleshoot the issue.
To access the SFTP logs, you will need to log in to the SDDC Manager CLI as the root user. Once you have logged in, you can navigate to the /opt/vmware/sddc-support/sddc-logs directory, where you will find the sddc-manager.log file. This file should contain information about the SDDC Manager's attempts to connect to the Isilon via SFTP, including any error messages or other issues that may be preventing the backup from succeeding.
In addition to checking the SFTP logs, you may also want to double-check your SFTP settings to ensure that they are configured correctly. For example, you may want to check that you are using the correct SFTP port and that the Isilon's SFTP server is configured to allow connections from the SDDC Manager. You may also want to check the firewall settings on both the SDDC Manager and the Isilon to ensure that they are not blocking the SFTP connection.
If you continue to have issues after checking the SFTP logs and verifying your SFTP settings, you may want to contact VMware or Isilon support for additional assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting advice or recommend other steps to help you resolve the issue.
