Sync IQ Migration

Hi All,

We are in process of replacing our Gen 5 Isilon cluster with Gen-6 e using Sync IQ  as Gen-6 comes with Ethernet backend Switch  , initially we will be configuring  Gen6  cluster in same DC where Gen-5  system is placed ,will perform initial seeding once initial seeding is done power off Gen6 cluster and shipped it to new DC location will run couple of incremental before doing cut over from Gen-5 to Gen-6 system .

As per Sync IQ documentation changing in IP or DNS will not reset SyncIQ policy , please let me know if anyone done in past and face any challenges as we are changing target host  parameter in SyncIQ policy as our DNS suffix will change because of DC1 to DC2
