Unable to set root password user admin account in isilon

Try the command “passwd” to change the password. Can you try from the web gui?  Does your admin user have the isi_priv_role

Given link showing how to reset root password. But am looking for some other id like admin id to reset the root password.  Looking for admin id to have privilege to set root password

GUI also am getting same error

User Can Change Password: No

I can change my own id (admin) password. But my requirement is to change root password using admin id

try sudo isi auth users modify root --set-password
