Unity to Isilon - IBM TSM Backup

Dear All.
We have an IBM TSM ndmp backup configured for our Unity5600 NAS. The architecture is attached.
When TSM have to restore historical information that they have saved in the DataDomain by VTL, TSM uses a Unity path:/VDM01_Backup/Backup1, which as per IBM is burned in its configuration and cannot be changed. So, when restoring TSM, it must have that path otherwise it will not restore.
Now, we are moving that backup infra to Isilon NAS. And, in Isilon, we can't have that exact path as everything starts from /ifs.
Now, if as per https://www.dell.com/community/Isilon/NFS-Aliasing-on-Isilon/td-p/7012019 , if export a NFS path exactly as /VDM01_Backup/Backup1, will it work.
We are able to export exactly like the above discussion explains. Supported/Not-Support, we see later, but we want to know, if it will work in cases where legacy apps have dependency on legacy paths. Obviously, also want to know if TSM ndmp can restore to a NFS exported path, as explained above.

Please advise, and any pointers will be highly useful.

Hi,

The best option is to call phone support for this.
